July 4:  Mars and Uranus

Mars and Uranus undergo a very close conjunction on the morning of July 4, with only about 1/10th of a degree separating them; they are situated between Aldebaran and the Pleiades.

July 3:  Venus and Jupiter

Venus and Jupiter have separated so far now that they are not really visible as a pair anymore.  This is most likely the last image of Jupiter in the evening sky I will obtain during this apparition, as it is now setting in bright twilight.  Venus is now only a few days away from passing Regulus in Leo.

July 1:  T Coronae Borealis

Our vigil for the eruption of T Coronae Borealis continues, but no sign of it yet.
