Venus continues its evening apparition, still gaining in elongation from the Sun but falling in altitude as it now moves along the ecliptic in a direction that is more left than up when compared to the sunset point each evening.  Jupiter is now 5 days away from being closest to Regulus, which it will pass to the north.  Venus is magnitude -4.08 this evening.  Unannotated image.
