November 23

Mercury is slowly gaining in altitude as it move eastward against the stars, gradually climbing out of the solar glare.  By early December it will reach greatest elongation and be considerably more prominent than it is now.

November 19

Venus continues to dominate the morning sky, now having moved into the middle of Virgo, near γ Virginis, otherwise known as Porrima, which in November 2023 exhibits a separation of about 3.2".

November 3

The gas giants are strung out along the ecliptic from almost Capricornus to almost Taurus on this chilly November evening.  Saturn is in western Aquarius, effectively stationary tonight as it resumes prograde motion tomorrow; Neptune is near the Pisces-Aquarius border but not pictured here, and finally Jupiter and Uranus are situated in central to eastern Aries.  Jupiter just passed through opposition about 20 hours ago.
