Saturn is at its western stationary point after opposition in August, which means it will begin prograde motion on November 4, not to return to this part of the sky until 2052!  Hope I live to see it LOL.  The last image on this page (Strange Anomaly) just highlights an unusual bright point to the south-east of the star δ Capricorni.  It must have been either an airplane headed directly toward my location (the exposure was 4") or a meteor doing the same thing.  Saturn is magnitude +0.71, while Fomalhaut at the bottom is +1.17 for comparison.
