Mars' retrograde loop through Taurus is shown from when it entered the zone in Aries back in August 2022, all the way through the time when it leaves the zone of the retrograde loop in late March and early April 2023.  Note how during this opposition, Mars' loop shows markedly in the beginning but at the second stationary point, Mars prograde motion basically overlaps the prior retrograde almost exactly.
