This galaxy at first completely eluded me, but of the first three objects in Coma Berenices, it ended up being the easiest for me to confirm my observation. I could just barely detect that there was a slightly fuzzy spot in the position next to a field star after switching to a 16mm true plössl with four lens elements that yielded 95x. NGC 4169 is the brightest member of Hickson 61, a group known as "The Box" for its rectangular arrangement.
