NGC 2071 is a reflection nebula in the vicinity of M78 and the nebula discovered by Jay McNeil.  I have never willfully or consciously observed it before, so again I was unsure how easy or difficult an assignment it would be.  It was not too difficult to locate, and once located I was able to discern the haziness around the star that gives rise to the reflected light of the nebula.  In this image by Richard Pattie, NGC 2071 is in the middle of the lower part of the frame.  I was able to see haze around both stars, with a greater amount being around the eastern star.  The view was improved with a nebula filter.
