Looking west about 90 minutes or even two hours after sunset from this dark location, the zodiacal light was plain to see.  In fact, even once the zodiacal light largely disappeared, the sky was so dark overhead that the zodiacal band was discernible along much of the ecliptic.  Unannotated image.
