This image continues up the spine of the Milky Way from the image of northeastern Cygnus, which here centers on the boundary area between Cepheus, Lacerta, and Cygnus. The main objects here include NGC 7243 in Lacerta, the triangle of stars in the head of Cepheus made up of δ, ε, and ζ, and finally the nebulous region to the lower left of μ Cephei.
