This view of Taurus, which features the area between the horns, namely from Aldebaran and the Hyades on the right across to the east, toward but not including Elnath and ζ Tauri, gives us a view of the two large but dim open clusters known as NGC 1746 and NGC 1647. To me, NGC 1746 looks like a real cluster, but as is described on the Wikipedia page, the current thought is that it comprises two unrelated, smaller true clusters plus foreground stars.
