My daughter Christa recently noticed the Teapot shaped outline of the main stars of Sagittarius, so I decided to document what it looks like in the evening just after the sky gets dark in the last weeks of the summer ~ here we see the Teapot to the upper left of the Stinger of Scorpius over a cornfield.  We can clearly see the Great Sagittarius Star Cloud, the open star clusters M7 and M6, and even the Lagoon Nebula, M8.  Unannotated image.
