I don't know where I was in taking this picture, but I got probably my best shot ever of the California Nebula with a film camera.  This view shows the southeastern part of Perseus, the northern section of Taurus, and the main part of the pentagon of Auriga, along with its two IC emission nebulae.  The stars below the California Nebula are part of the Perseus OB2 Association.  Unannotated image, Back to Constellations, Back to Starvergnügen
