This image of the area of Sagittarius near the galactic center was taken with my Nikkor 85 mm f/1.4 lens, probably from the Skyline Drive or Blue Ridge Parkway.  My tracking was pretty decent since the stars don't exhibit much elongation.  The image spans the area between M6 in the south to M24, the Little Sagittarius Star Cloud, at the top edge.  The original slide was scanned and digitized in 2026.  Unannotated image, Back
