In March and April of 2010, Venus and Mercury gathered for a nice conjunction in the
evening sky, here skirting the border between Aries and Pisces. Here, Venus is
magnitude -3.92 and Mercury is magnitude -0.80, brighter than any star except Sirius.
They are 3°10'10" apart on this evening, with Venus slightly south of the
ecliptic and Mercury somewhat farther north of it.
