A very nice total lunar eclipse occurred in the constellation Aries on November 8, 2003, which is the first of two consecutive total lunar eclipses in the constellation Aries (this year and 2004).  I was able to obtain a good telescopic view through my C8 SCT with 2,032 mm focal length, as well as this constellation view with a 55 mm lens.  My exposure was too long for a decent view of the eclipsed Moon but at least I did get good depth on the stars.
