![]() Mars and Uranus still feature prominently in central Aquarius, both of them now almost two months after their respective oppositions. Mars is still very bright at magnitude -1.62, while Uranus is magnitude +5.76. From this image with the retrograde loop superimposed, we see that Mars has already begun prograde motion ~ a consequence of the fact that during perihelic oppositions, Mars' retrograde loop is quite a bit shorter than during aphelic ones.
