Comet C/1996 B2 Hyakutake exploded onto the astronomical scene in March and April of 1996, racing through Boötes and over the north celestial pole and then down through Perseus.  Here is a moderately telephoto view of the comet as it slides by Algol and the other stars comprising one of the hero's legs.  The darker blotches in the image are tree branches LOL.  Unannotated image
