We were treated to a very nice total lunar eclipse during the night of November 28 - 29, 1993, with the center of totality coming in the hour just after midnight.  I observed this eclipse from a friend's house in Boulder Canyon west of the city of Boulder.  As can be seen on the image, high clouds drifted through the sky that night, but there was more than enough time to observe and photograph the event.
