1991 Crescent Moon Over Wondervu, CO
Mount Pinatubo in the Phillippines erupted in 1991 and spewed forth
a tremendous amount of ash and dust and smoke which turned sunsets
and sunrises fascinating colors of pink and orange and purple for
several years. During my three year stint in Boulder, Colorado
attending the University there, I drove up into the front range
mountains sometime during the fall of 1991 and got some photos of
the crescent Moon setting over the little community of Wondervu.
Like a blind chicken sometimes finding a kernel of corn, my very
average photography skills actually yielded some interesting photos
on this occasion:
