Venus and the Moon gathered together in the evening sky on September 14 to create a pretty scene, the two of them sitting roughly even with the horizon, separated by a little less than 6° in the west-southwest.  This young Moon is just a few days past the first new Moon after the solar eclipse on August 12 that we saw in Spain.  Unannotated image.

Obviously I don't have lenses with focal lengths of 87 and 103 mm, but I measured the field of view to determine the focal length that my Vivitar 28-200mm lens was set to.
