Venus is now well past the Beehive Cluster, M44, and on its way to the border between Cancer and Leo.  Jupiter, despite having been left behind by his sister, is still moving eastward against the stars, and has now moved into Cancer from Gemini.  Venus shines at magnitude -4.04, while Jupiter has faded to magnitude -1.84, with 13°40'54" separating them this evening.  Unannotated image.
