Jupiter is still in central Gemini but has over the last month has been gaining speed in its prograde (eastward) motion, heading toward its next milestone which is conjunction with the Sun.  Here we see the king of planets almost due north of δ Geminorum.  Jupiter is magnitude -2.07 and 35.5" in equatorial diameter this evening.  Unannotated image.
