Jupiter has been retrograding in Gemini for many months and is now only two days away from its stationary point, on March 11, at which point it will resume prograde or eastern motion against the stars. This is why the king of planets has seemingly been in the same position relative to the stars of Gemini for several weeks and will continue to do so ~ its motion is very slow during this time and difficult to discern without very carefully noting its nightly position.
