Thirty minutes after Venus set, we have a better view of Saturn and Mercury in darker skies.  Mercury is north (to the upper right) of the ecliptic and Saturn (along with Neptune) is above and to the left of Mercury, by an equal measure south of the ecliptic.  Mercury is magnitude -0.26 while Saturn is +1.05 (and Neptune is of course much fainter at +7.95).  Unannotated image, Neptune's location indicated.
