Uranus continues to occupy a position just below the ecliptic in the area south of the Pleiades. On this evening, it shines at magnitude +5.63, which is almost exactly the same as the star 13 Tauri, shown on the annotated image just to the lower left of Uranus. Uranus is still retrograding, i.e., moving westward against the stars, but this will last for only one more month, since it will resume eastward motion on February 4, 2026. Unannotated image. |
