Comet 3I/ATLAS is only the third comet discovered that is believed to be an interstellar object, meaning that it is only passing through our solar system along a trajectory that is not in orbit around our Sun.  On this morning, it was located in western Virgo very close to the ecliptic, and shining at about magnitude 11.0.  Unannotated image, finder chart.
