Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon continues to be an easily visible object in the western sky after sunset.  Now curving southward in Ophiuchus, the comet is heading for its perihelion on November 8, 2025, so that it continues to brighten in an absolute sense, while dimming from an apparent sense, owing to increasing distance from the Earth.  This evening was very clear but the sky was still brightened by moonlight from the just-past-full Moon rising in the east, so the contrast between sky and comet was not optimal.  A more favorable dark-sky window is opening up in the next several days.  The globular cluster M10 is visible at top right.  Compare this view of Comet Lemmon with that of October 22 with the same 200 mm lens.
