The Earth was at aphelion on July 3, 2025.  The website thesuntoday.org states that the distance from the Earth's center to the Sun's center was 94,502,939 miles or 152,088,848 km at the moment of aphelion.  I hope to acquire another image next January 4 at perihelion with the same camera and lens so that we can compare the sizes of the Sun at these two opposing points in the Earth's orbit.  Original size image.
