Now that I am back in Virginia from my Florida excursion with my daughter, we have a cloud-free view of the morning planet scene again, one week after our picture of May 18.  Now it's easy to see the different orientation that 9° latitude makes.  The constellation boundaries and the ecliptic make a shallower angle with the horizon at higher latitudes.  Note how Venus, which went through inferior conjunction in March well north of the ecliptic, has now swung well to the south of our orbital plane.  Venus is magnitude -4.36, Saturn +1.10, and Neptune (too faint to be visible) is +7.92.  Unannotated image.
