The brightest asteroid, Vesta, is still brighter than any other asteroid can ever get as it retrogrades in northeastern Virgo after its opposition on 1 May.  In this view, taken in late twilight, we see it within a trapezoidal box comprising μ, φ, υ and ι Virginis.  Vesta is at magnitude +6.09 this evening.  A great resource for its orbit and path includes images and charts.  Sky & Telescope finder chart and description.  Unannotated image.
