![]() Mercury and Saturn again, this time with Mercury farther along and to the northeast of the ringed planet. Mercury is magnitude -1.15 while Saturn is still at +1.14. The winged messenger is climbing north toward the ecliptic, which it will cross two days from now on the 27th. This scene was captured with a 205 mm lens, so the scale of this image is smaller than yesterday's but slightly larger than my image of February 23. Unannotated image. |
