Venus has dropped down to about 35° elongation from the Sun at this point, from a maximum of 47° in mid-January.  As a result, it is setting noticeably sooner after sunset, although at this point still in darkness.  And of course she is still blazingly bright at magnitude -4.61 with a diameter of 45.16" arcseconds and a phase angle of 19°.  Note how far north of the ecliptic Venus is ~ this evening, 5°50' above it.   Unannotated image, Image of retrograde loop until inferior conjunction.
