| This gorgeous view of Venus over the Neckar River in Tübingen, Germany was sent to me by Mike Menke. He was on the Eberhardsbrücke looking east, on a cut out in the middle of the bridge. The latitude there is 48°31' north, so we can see that the ecliptic and constellations are tipped noticeably compared to my home latitude of 38°15' north. Venus is now in Leo, at magnitude -4.53 and 33.7" in diameter on this date. |
