Our poor weather has returned just in time to ruin our attempts to see or image Comet C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) during its best window of visibility as the crescent Moon slides by and before the comet flies too close to the Sun to see in the morning.  In this view, I used a moderately telephoto lens to zoom in on the location of the comet just below ζ Leonis; if the cloud bank had not been there, I might have been able to record a bit of the tail, who knows?  This view by Petr Horalek is about 8 hours earlier than mine.
