Even though Mercury has dimmed a bit since the 26th when it was close
to Jupiter, it is noticeably higher now and so more readily visible,
whereas Jupiter cannot be imaged anymore given that it is getting too
close to the Sun. Here we see an early twilight view of Venus
and Mercury just barely over the tree line. Mercury is magnitude
-1.26 and 5.63" in diameter and has moved north of the ecliptic.
