On this evening, Venus is magnitude -3.96 while Jupiter is -2.14, with the separation between the two now only 6° 14' 57" so they are close to being separated only by the width of the Big Dipper pointer stars.  Note here again that both planets are in Pisces and Venus is creeping back closer to the ecliptic.
