Venus and Saturn are closing towards their January 22 conjunction; here we see Venus at magnitude -3.92 while Saturn has faded to magnitude +0.82 and 15.5" equatorial diameter.  Note how Saturn has now moved east of the little three star asterism above δ and γ Capricorni.
