Venus and Mercury are in Sagittarius low in the west after sunset.  Venus is beginning a long evening apparition which will see it moderately high in the spring sky but rapidly decline in July to an August inferior conjunction.  Mercury is beginning a very good evening apparition, nicely paired with the slower moving Venus.
