We had absolutely spectacular weather in central Virginia for the total lunar eclipse of November 8, 2022.  The sky was almost perfectly clear, the temperature was mild, there was the barest of breezes, and not a drop of humidity in the air.  The eclipse was excellent, quite dark, and conveyed that eery look that really belongs on Hallowe'en LOL.  This eclipse seemed fairly dark to me, with the best views coming through 10x50 binoculars.  This montage of images shows the progression of the event from about 1/3 of the way into the partial phase to almost the middle of totality.
