I had to battle bad weather for much of December before getting a few evenings of moderately decent weather starting on the 19th.  Even here, the sky conditions were not ideal, but good enough and lucky enough to catch sight of the comet low in the southwest.  This was the only time I used a telephoto lens to image the comet.  This is its last night in Sagittarius before easing into Microscopium, which will be one of the few times this overlooked constellation gets any publicity LOL.  The image scale of this photo is equivalent to a full frame camera fitted with a 157 mm lens.  Unannotated image
