In February 2016, Venus continues to sink lower in the morning sky and at this point we find it moving through the Teaspoon part of Sagittarius, conveniently paired with Mercury to its lower left.  Venus is magnitude -3.98, Mercury is magnitude +0.05, and the pair are 6°17'29" apart this morning.
