This conjunction of Venus and Jupiter is a relatively close one, because both planets have a very similar latitude above the ecliptic; They would have
had a similar conjunction in June 1991, which for some reason I don't recall at all.  That would have been right before the great 7-minute long total
solar eclipse we viewed from Mexico.
