This is probably my last film astrophotograph, and also probably my best LOL.  I believe this was taken in Florida at the Chiefland Astronomy Village.  I would have piggybacked the camera on my Celestron C8 and tracked for at least 10 minutes, maybe more.  Many of my earlier film astrophotos had a purple or green cast to the sky, but whatever film I was using here had a very warm, more natural tone.  The stars are not bloated, the tracking was great, and honestly it looks more natural to my eye than most digital images.  Of course, the film does a great job of rendering the H-α emission from the nebulas, even the fainter ones in southern Scorpius at the lower right corner.  Back
