Auriga the Charioteer stands upright in this view from early evening in November 1994, as seen from Hanover County, Virginia.  The only Messier objects in Auriga are the three open clusters marked on the image.  Auriga is also home to an excellent example of a carbon star, UU Aurigae, which is not marked on the image but can be easily seen near the left edge, in the middle, gleaming orange.  Unannotated image, Back
