I had a memorable trip to Big Bend National Park in March 1993 to enjoy the dark skies and southern horizon. I attempted some astrophotography from there and managed to get the best picture of Orion I had taken up to that point, with a 50 mm lens wide open and the camera piggybacked on my Meade 2045 4" SCT. As you can see the tracking was not bad, although the bloated stars aren't very nice LOL. Back |
