In 2006, Jupiter came to opposition in Libra, and for this scene we have captured the king of planets at his east quadrature point, at which he is
stationary, just beginning to initiate retrograde motion back to the west.  Compare this picture to this image from January 7, 2018 showing a close
conjunction of Jupiter and Mars in nearly the same spot.
