A very nice total lunar eclipse occurred in the constellation Aries on October 27, 2004, which I observed from King George County, VA.  I was able to obtain a good telescopic view through my Meade 2045 SCT with 1,000 mm focal length, as well as this wide angle view with a 50 mm lens.
