Comet NEAT, officially designated C/2001 Q4 (NEAT), passed through our skies in April and May of 2004, a nice treat prior to the transit of Venus which
occurred in June of that year.  This horrible scan of what wasn't a bad slide picture shows the comet in southwestern Cancer.
