Venus is reprising the excellent evening apparition that it had in 1984/1985 with the conclusion now of its 1992/1993 apparition.  Here we find Venus in eastern Aquarius, just having passed λ Aquarii and about to overtake ψ Aquarii.  Clouds were rolling in over the Front Range, so I missed catching Saturn in this picture, it is in the clouds, just over the Flatirons west of Boulder.  Venus is magnitude -4.39 on this date.  This picture was taken from the balcony of my apartment at Eisenhower Drive off of Arapahoe.  Unannotated image
