![]() After two weeks of unobservable weather conditions, we finally get a nice view of Venus rising about 90 minutes before the Sun over a flat eastern horizon. I had to wait longer than I expected before Saturn rose, so the only way to see it is to zoom way in. Venus is magnitude -4.51 and Saturn checks in at magnitude +1.18, which is quite a bit dimmer than usual because of the recent ringplane crossing event. Mercury rose a little bit later, so we missed it this morning. Unannotated image |
